We started Online Tutoring in response to the corona virus crisis, when we were forced to close our Learning Centres. But what we found was – it worked!
Thanks to the latest internet technology, our unique combination of Personalised Learning Programmes and 1-on-1 Tutoring were as effective online as they were in our Centres.
The important difference between computer learning programs and online tutoring is that our tutors are online to help your child with any difficulties. It’s as if they are really there with your child.
T2M’s unique Maths and English Learning Programmes and 1-on-1 Tutoring can now be accessed from your home, anytime that suits your child, anywhere in New Zealand.
Our aim is to help your child to succeed, so we don’t use standard programs. Instead, we first assess his or her needs and abilities, then create a Learning Programme just for him or her.
To support the role of schools in your child’s education, T2M’s Learning Programmes are based on the NZ School Curriculum and designed to foster a love of learning to last a lifetime.
It’s said that you can’t manage what you can’t measure, so to more effectively manage your child’s learning, we’ll provide your child with feedback and advise you about his or her progress.
All the disruption in education this year is bound to have had an impact on students’ stress levels, especially if they are due to sit important exams.
Studies have shown that extra tuition can make a big difference by helping children catch up, regain their confidence and increase their performance.
Let us develop a Learning Programme tailor-made to help your child get through this difficult time.
I must say that your tutor was exceptional! As I’m sure you know, it isn’t the easiest holding an online tutorial, particularly with multiple students.
Your Tutor asked the right questions and she knew how to engage both my daughter and the other kids online seamlessly (even though they were learning different content).
She gave positive feedback at all the right times and when my daughter wasn’t getting things quite right, or understanding … your tutor would go back to the foundations of the question / content to ensure my daughter understood, then they did some questions together, then it was up to my daughter to try questions on her own.
It’s so easy to get started with our Online Maths or English Tutoring and it takes just minutes to get set up. All your child will need are:
Contact us to set up an online or phone meeting. Tell us about your child, including his or her needs, goals, strengths and weaknesses as well as your own hopes for your child.
We’ll help you get set up from home, then meet with your child online so we can get to know each other and assess and understand his or her learning needs and goals.
We’ll handpick a Tutor best suited to your child and develop an Online Learning Programme tailored to meet your child’s needs and goals.
Our students love our Learning Programmes because they’re fun and rewarding and our Tutors are always on hand to provide guidance and feedback.
We believe the most effective learning comes from partnerships – with both you and your child. We’ll keep you posted on his or her progress at every step.
